Snowdon – Ranger Path

Trail description

The Snowdon Ranger Path up the western side of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon): 6.3 km with 928 m of climb from the Snowdon Ranger car park on the A4085 by Llyn Cwellyn to the summit. It zigzags up the grassy hillside to the Bwlch Maesgwm gate, runs almost level past Llyn Ffynnon-y-gwas, climbs the upper zigzags below the cliffs of Clogwyn Du'r Arddu, crosses the railway to Bwlch Glas and follows the Llanberis Path for the last third of a mile. Eryri National Park grades it hard and, with little parking at the start, recommends public transport.
