Trail description

The walk leaves the car park beside the Slieve Gullion Courtyard Centre, climbs through deciduous woodland and follows the forest drive along the southern slopes to the upper car park. A steep mountain path then passes a stone shelter to the 573 metre summit, the highest point in County Armagh, where the South Cairn is the highest surviving passage grave in Ireland.
