Trail Description

The ascent of the highest mountain in England from Wasdale Head, the shortest and most direct of the popular routes. The rocky path climbs steeply past Lingmell Gill to a boulder strewn summit crowned by a stone cairn. Big views over the Lake District fells and out to the Irish Sea on a clear day.
