Scafell from Wasdale Head via Green How

Trail description

From the National Trust car park at the head of Wast Water the path crosses the beck and climbs the long grassy ridge of Green How to the rocky summit of Scafell (964 m), the second highest mountain in England, beside Scafell Pike. It avoids the scrambles of Lord's Rake, but the top is rough and often in cloud.
