Trail description
From the car park at the end of the lane above Llanddeusant, a water board track climbs beside the Afon Sawdde to Llyn y Fan Fach, a glacial lake at about 510 metres. A path then rises onto the escarpment of Bannau Sir Gaer and follows the edge east over Waun Lefrith to Picws Du, whose summit carries a Bronze Age round barrow. The lake is the setting of the Lady of the Lake legend.
