Trail description
From the Bridgewater Monument at the Ashridge estate visitor centre, paths lead north through beech woods and along the open chalk slopes above Aldbury and Ivinghoe to Ivinghoe Beacon, the hillfort crowned summit at the end of the Ridgeway. The walk is 8.5 km out and back with about 210 m of climbing, with wide views over the Vale of Aylesbury.
