Hare's Gap via the Trassey Track

Trail description

From the council car park on Trassey Road, the Trassey Track climbs past the granite cliffs of Spellack beside the Trassey River, fords the stream and crosses bare rock pavement and a boulder field. It ends at the Mourne Wall in the Hare's Gap, at about 600 metres between Slievenaglogh and Slieve Bearnagh, where the old Brandy Pad smugglers' path heads east under the Diamond Rocks.
