Trail description
Fleetwith Pike guards the head of the Buttermere valley with a bold prow of rock. From Gatesgarth the steep path climbs Fleetwith Edge past the Fanny Mercer cross and the Raven Crags to the summit, about 2 km and 530 m of climbing, with a superb view down Buttermere. Short but exhilarating.
