Trail description
Fan Fawr rises west of the A470 opposite Pen y Fan, and most walkers climb it from the car park at the Storey Arms. The path crosses rough moorland and then climbs steeply up the eastern face to the summit cairn, with the trig point standing on a spur 600 metres to the south-west. The 734 metre summit lies within the Fforest Fawr Geopark, designated in 2005.
