Fair Head Cliff Walk

Trail description

Starting from the farm car park off Fairhead Road near Ballycastle, this waymarked loop follows the cliff edge with views to Rathlin Island and down onto Murlough Bay, then returns on farm tracks and open land past Lough na Cranagh to the hamlet of Coolanlough. The cliffs of Fair Head are dolerite formed about 60 million years ago, in columns up to 12 metres across.
