Trail description
From the village car park in South Zeal, lanes and a moorland track lead onto the northern flank of Cosdon and up its long grassy slope to the summit at 550 metres. For many years this broad, rounded hill was believed to be the highest on Dartmoor, until the first Ordnance Survey map of Dartmoor in 1809 showed that Yes Tor was higher.
