Trail description

This day of the Coast to Coast leaves Rosthwaite in Borrowdale, passes Stonethwaite and follows Greenup Gill up to Greenup Edge, then descends Far Easedale to Grasmere village. The route was opened as a National Trail in March 2026, at a length of 190 miles from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay.
