Trail description
From the Cloughmore car park, 230 metres above sea level in Kilbroney Park above Rostrevor, a steep waymarked forest path climbs to the Cloughmore Stone. Known locally as the Big Stone, this granite boulder of about 50 tonnes is a glacial erratic left by retreating ice some 10,000 years ago, and it looks out over Carlingford Lough to the Cooley Mountains.
