Trail description

From Stoneycroft bridge near Stair in the Newlands valley, the path climbs steeply over Rowling End and up the knobbly crest to Causey Pike (637 m), one of the most recognisable summits seen from Keswick and Derwentwater. The walk is 4 km out and back with about 490 m of climbing. The last pull to the top is a short rocky scramble.
