Carnedd Dafydd and Carnedd Llewelyn from Ogwen

Trail description

A round of the high Carneddau from the lay-by at Glan Dena in the Ogwen valley, up past Ffynnon Lloer to Pen yr Ole Wen, along the broad stony ridge over Carnedd Dafydd (1,044 m) to Carnedd Llewelyn (1,064 m), the third highest mountain in Wales, and back down over Pen yr Helgi Du. The climb to Pen yr Ole Wen is steep and rocky, and the high plateau is hard to find your way across in mist.
