Trail description
The Minffordd Path starts at the Dôl Idris car park off the A487 and climbs stone steps through the wooded Nant Cadair gorge in the Cadair Idris National Nature Reserve. It passes above Llyn Cau, a corrie lake carved by a glacier, then follows the rim over Craig Cwm Amarch to Penygadair, the 893 m summit. The National Park Authority rates it hard, with 788 m of ascent.
