Trail description
Starting from the Arthog car park on the Mawddach Trail, this circuit follows the estuary before climbing through the ancient Abergwynant woodland to the hilltop lakes of Llynnau Cregennan beneath Cadair Idris. It returns past the Arthog waterfalls and a clapper bridge near the site of Llys Bradwen, the court of the 12th century leader Ednywain ab Bradwen. The National Park Authority grades it moderate.
