Yalova Termal Walk

Trail description

A short 1.2 km walk through the spa village of Termal above Yalova on the Sea of Marmara, climbing about 40 m. The hot springs here have been used since Roman and Byzantine times, and the Ottoman Kursunlu bath still stands; Ataturk made Termal a summer retreat after his first visit in 1929 and had the spa rebuilt. His house and its plane trees are among the sights of the village.
