Kızılçukur Sunset Trail

Trail description

A walk up the Kızılçukur, or Red, Valley near Çavuşin in Cappadocia, named for its red and pink volcanic rock that glows at sunset. The route climbs about 3.4 km through the valley from the Meskendir side to the sunset viewpoints on the rim by Aktepe hill. It is one of Cappadocia's classic sunset spots, and its trails link with the neighbouring Rose Valley.
