Ishak Pasha Palace Walk

Trail description

A 2 km walk of about 140 m of climbing on the hillside above Dogubeyazit to the Ishak Pasha Palace, at about 1,940 m. The Ottoman palace was begun in 1685 by Colak Abdi Pasha and continued by his descendant Ishak Pasha; the inscription on its door dates the harem to 1784. It is one of the few surviving historic Turkish palaces.
