Trail description
A 3.1 km walk with about 95 m of climbing from the sunken minaret of old Halfeti along the Birecik reservoir and up to the viewpoints. Halfeti lies near the east bank of the Euphrates, 120 km from Şanlıurfa. Most of its villages were submerged in the 1990s behind the Birecik dam.
