Gülhane Park Walk

Trail description

A 1.2 km walk through Gulhane Park in Istanbul's Fatih district, on the grounds of Topkapi Palace. The 9.7 hectare park is the oldest public park in the city, and its southern entrance is one of the palace's larger gates. The Edict of Gulhane, which launched the Tanzimat reforms, was proclaimed here in 1839.
