Cumalıkızık Village Walk

Trail description

A 1.3 km walk through the cobbled lanes of Cumalikizik, 10 km east of Bursa at the foot of Uludag, up to the edge of the Cumalikizik forest park and back into the village. The village was founded as a pious foundation in honour of the Ottoman sultan Orhan Gazi, and its early Ottoman houses are still intact. No motor vehicles are allowed in it, and in high season it sees as many as 50,000 visitors a week.
