Çeşme to Ilıca Coast

Trail description

An 8.3 km walk from Cesme along the bay to Ilica beach, mostly on town streets and a stretch of cycle path. Ilica, 5 km east of Cesme, grew from the late 19th century as a summer retreat for wealthy families from Izmir. It is named for its thermal springs, some of which rise from the sea bed close to the beach.
