Çavuşin to Göreme Walk

Trail description

A 3.2 km walk of about 70 m of climbing between Cavusin and Goreme in Cappadocia, at about 1,030 to 1,100 m. Goreme lies at the heart of a network of valleys full of fairy chimneys and eroded rock formations, many hollowed out in the Middle Ages into churches and houses. As an early centre of Christianity, it has the most painted churches in Cappadocia.
