Trail description
A 1.9 km climb of about 120 m through Behramkale to the ruins of ancient Assos on the Aegean coast, reaching about 200 m. Assos stands above the Gulf of Edremit on the south side of the Troad, and once had the only good harbour on some 80 km of coast. In the 1st century AD it was also known as Apollonia.
