Trail description
An easy 6.3 km loop around Lake Abant in the Abant Mountains, 34 km south-west of Bolu, at about 1,330 m. The crater-barrier lake is fed by groundwater and covers 127 hectares, with a 7 km shoreline and a depth of 18 m. Protected as a natural park since 1988, it became Turkey's 48th national park in 2022.
