Monk's Trail to Doi Suthep

Trail description

The old pilgrims' path from the edge of Chiang Mai up the forest of Doi Suthep, past the jungle temple of Wat Pha Lat and its waterfall, then steeply on to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep with its golden chedi and view over the city. Monks still use the path, so dress modestly. Allow two and a half hours up; songthaews run down.
