Alishan Tashan Trail

Trail description

From the Tashan trailhead near Zhaoping station in the Alishan Forest Recreation Area a path runs west along the ridge through old cypress and hemlock forest to Tashan at 2,484 m, the Pagoda Mountain of the Tsou people. The cliff-top viewing platform looks over the sea of clouds and the Tsou villages far below. Allow four hours return.
