Trail description

A 4.8 km valley walk of about 180 m of climbing from Zweilutschinen, where the White and Black Lutschine rivers meet, up the Lauterbrunnen valley to Lauterbrunnen. A bridge was built over the rivers at Zweilutschinen in 1580. Just west of Lauterbrunnen the Staubbach Falls drop 297 m from overhanging cliffs; Goethe's visit in 1779 inspired his poem Gesang der Geister uber den Wassern.
