Trail description

A 10.5 km walk with about 440 m of climbing along the north shore of the Walensee from Weesen to Quinten, on the signposted route by the hamlet of Betlis. Beyond Betlis the path leaves the shore below the Churfirsten cliffs and passes the Seerenbach falls, a cascade of three falls 585 m high in all, with the Rinquelle spring at their foot. Quinten, at the end, can only be reached on foot or by boat and is one of the warmest places in Switzerland. The Walensee covers 24 square kilometres and is up to 151 m deep.
