Trail description
An 8.7 km walk with about 190 m of climbing, mostly downhill, from the Simplon Pass down the old Stockalper mule track, built in the 17th century for the salt trade, to Simplon Dorf. The track passes the old hospice and the Napoleon road through alpine pasture. Postbuses serve both ends.
