Trail description

From Wildhaus the route climbs through the Thurwis and Langenbüel alps to the Rotsteinpass and its mountain inn, then follows the Lisengrat ridge to the 2,502 m Säntis summit: 10.8 km with about 1,550 m of climbing. The Lisengrat is a T3 path with fixed steel cables and steps; sure footing and a good head for heights are needed. The cable car goes down from the summit to the Schwägalp.
