Trail description

A 4.8 km walk between Saas-Grund and Saas-Almagell in the Saas valley of Valais, taking a higher path above the valley floor and climbing about 500 m to around 2,010 m. The slopes above the villages are crossed by high trails toward the Almagelleralp and Furggstalden, with views across the valley to the glaciers and 4,000 m peaks of the Saas range. A bus links the two villages every hour for the return.
