Rigi Staffel to Kulm

Trail description

A short 0.6 km walk of about 70 m up from Rigi Staffel to Rigi Kulm, at 1,797 m the highest point of the Rigi, on well-made paths. The summit has a 360 degree panorama over Lake Lucerne, Lake Zug and Lake Lauerz, the Alps and the plains toward Germany and France. The Rigi Kulm Hotel on the summit dates from 1816, and the summit is served by the Rigi Railways, the oldest mountain railways in Europe.
