Trail description

A 3.1 km climb of about 360 m from Riederalp to the Moosfluh viewpoint above the Aletsch Glacier. The glacier is the largest in the Alps, about 23 km long, and the area around it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Aletsch region between Belalp, Riederalp and Bettmeralp gives access to its lower part, and Villa Cassel on the Riederfurka houses a Pro Natura centre with an exhibition about the site.
