Trail description
A 2.5 km climb from the Umbrail Pass (2,501 m) on the Italian border to the summit of Piz Umbrail (3,033 m), with about 500 m of ascent. The upper half is a T3 path (demanding mountain hiking) with fixed ropes on several steep sections. At over 3,000 m the air is thin and the weather can turn fast, so start early.
