Trail description

A 5.5 km climb of about 600 m from Merlen up the Murgtal past old stone pines to the Murgseen, three mountain lakes at about 1,680 to 1,820 m above the Walensee. The Murgtal is a protected area with one of the oldest stone pine forests in Switzerland.
