Trail description

A 3.3 km climb of about 500 m from Meride through forest to Monte San Giorgio at 1,097 m, a UNESCO World Heritage site for its fossils of Triassic marine reptiles. The fossil museum in Meride is the place to start. The summit looks over Lake Lugano.
