Trail description

A 6.2 km climb of about 1,200 m from Rovio above Lake Lugano through chestnut and beech forest to Monte Generoso at 1,701 m, with the 'Flower of Stone' restaurant by Mario Botta on the top. The summit looks over the lakes and the Po plain to the Alps. The rack railway from Capolago offers a way down.
