Trail description
A 9.4 km walk with about 315 m of climbing from the Col du Marchairuz past the Bois Carré refuge to just below the summit of Mont Tendre, 1,679 m. It is the highest summit of the Swiss Jura and so the highest point of Switzerland outside the Alps. The mountain stands between the Vallée de Joux and the Lake Geneva basin.
