Trail description
The walk starts at the Maloja Posta bus stop and follows the signed route via the hamlet of Orden and the Via Cavloccio track to the Lej da Cavloc, also called Lägh da Cavloc. Lägh is the Bregaglia dialect word for lake; the lake lies at 1907 m among larches in the Val Forno, with the Pizzi dei Rossi rising behind it. It is a popular spot for swimming and a stop on the way further up the valley to the Forno hut and the Muretto Pass. The walk is about 4.1 km one way, with some 170 m of climbing.
