Trail description
A 5.7 km walk up the floor of the Lauterbrunnen valley from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg, nearly flat with about 160 m of climbing. Some 72 waterfalls pour down the cliffs of the valley, among them the 297 m Staubbach Falls at the edge of Lauterbrunnen, and at Buchen a side path leads to the Trummelbach Falls, where glacier meltwater thunders through a series of falls inside the mountain. The path suits families and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
