Trail description

A long 9.3 km climb of about 1,230 m from Lavin in the Lower Engadine to the Lais da Macun, a high cirque of more than twenty small lakes at about 2,600 m. The basin has belonged to the Swiss National Park since 2000, so the park rules apply: stay on the path, no dogs. Most walkers continue over the Fuorcla Macun to Zernez.
