Trail description

A flat 2.5 km walk from Interlaken to Bonigen, the village on the shore of Lake Brienz near the mouth of the Lutschine river. Bonigen was first mentioned in 1261 as villa Boningen, a name meaning the people of the Bono clan. The route is almost level, with less than 20 m of climbing.
