Trail description

An 11.5 km walk through the Gorges de l'Areuse between Noiraigue and Boudry in the canton of Neuchatel, with about 500 m of climbing between 446 and 800 m. The gorge has waterfalls, ravines with rushing water and small pools, and the footpath through it was built between 1874 and 1880. Several small hydroelectric plants use the river, and the Creux-du-Van lies nearby.
