Trail description

A steep 4.3 km climb of about 975 m from Leukerbad up the cliff path to the Gemmi Pass at 2,269 m. The path was cut into the rock face in the 1740s and zigzags up the wall above the village, with railings on the exposed bends. At the pass the Daubensee and the Bernese Oberland open up, and a cable car runs back down to Leukerbad.
