Flims to Il Spir Rheinschlucht

Trail description

A 5.1 km walk of about 180 m of climbing from Flims through the forest to Il Spir, the viewing platform at Conn south of the village. Opened in 2006, the platform stands 380 m above the Rhine on the edge of the Ruinaulta. The Rhine Gorge, about 14 km long, was cut by the Anterior Rhine after the prehistoric Flims rockslide blocked the valley.
