Combe Grède to the Chasseral from Villeret

Trail description

An 8.1 km climb of about 920 m from Villeret in the Saint-Imier valley up the Combe Grède, a narrow wooded gorge with ladders and footbridges, to the Chasseral at 1,607 m, the highest summit of the Bernese Jura. The Combe Grède is a nature reserve where chamois are often seen. From the top the view spans the Swiss Plateau and the Alps.
