Trail description

A long climb of 9.4 km and about 1,760 m from Brienz on the lake shore to the Brienzer Rothorn at 2,350 m. The path climbs through forest and alpine pastures beside the line of the old steam cog railway, which most walkers take back down. The summit looks over Lake Brienz to the Bernese Alps.
